At the end of your appointment, you will receive a complimentary Aftercare pack containing all required items to look after your new cosmetic tattoo. Please ensure you are following the correct instructions, as it is vital to getting the best results possible.
COSMETIC TATTOO BROWS
1) Immediately after the treatment - Blot your brows with a clean, dry cotton round every 20 minutes for the first 2 hours to get rid of any lymph fluid build up which can cause scabbing. Your tattoo will also appear much darker and bolder in colour when freshly done, but will fade to a more natural result once fully healed.
2) Do not wet your brows at all for 10-14 days. This includes water, steam, sauna and swimming. We advise you to wash your hair on the day of your appointment. A disposable brow shield is also provided in your aftercare pack to make the process easier.
3) Gently apply a rice grain size of the aftercare balm on each brow 3 times a day using a clean cotton tip. Do not apply anything else to the area apart from the aftercare balm provided.
4) No makeup to be applied on or around the brows for a minimum of 14 days. You can still wear makeup on the rest of your face. Please be careful in removing your makeup and ensure you do not wet the brows. You can wash your face as normal from the eyes down, but for the forehead area make sure to use a makeup wipe or a cotton round with some micellar water.
4) No sweating for 10-14 days. Please ensure you are not exercising or playing sports for at least the first 7 days. You may think you do not sweat on the face area, but you are putting yourself at risk of infection and compromising your healed results.
5) Please avoid direct sunlight for at least 10 days. If you are going to be in the sun, make sure you are wearing a hat to protect your new brows.
6) Please wait a minimum of 14 days before getting any treatments around the area including waxing, threading, tinting, lamination or facials.
7) Avoid applying fake tan to the area for at least 14 days as this can increase risk of infection and change the colour of the tattoo.
8) Around days 4-10 you may experience some light flaking and your brows will appear dry. DO NOT pick at the flakes, let them fall off naturally over the 14 day healing period. If you remove them before they are ready, the tattoo underneath will come off with them which will result in scarring, gaps, patches and uneven healed results.
9) Once the flakes have fallen off naturally, the pigment will seem a lot lighter, and it will feel like your brows have disappeared - we call this the "Ghosting" phase. This is completely normal and occurs because there is a fresh new layer of skin over your tattoo which hasn't fully healed yet. It takes a minimum of 4 weeks for your skin to fully regenerate and become more translucent, and you will gradually notice your brow tattoo becoming more vibrant as this time passes.
10) After 4-8 weeks your skin will be fully healed and you will be required to come back for a touch up appointment. All cosmetic tattoos are a 2 step process and it is completely normal for your brows to have a few small patches or gaps which we will be perfecting at your touch up. On rare occasions, you may need a third session due to having a skin type that is more resistant to the implantation of pigment, being more prone to bleeding during the procedure or from incorrect aftercare taken.

COSMETIC TATTOO LIPS
1) Do not wet your lips for 7 days. This includes water, steam, sweat, sauna and swimming. Be very careful when brushing your teeth, and use a straw when rinsing out your mouth. Gently pat dry with a clean paper towel and apply the aftercare balm once done.
2) Please ensure you apply the after care balm with a clean cotton tip multiple times a day. It is important to keep them moist at all times. Do not apply makeup or anything else to the area apart from the aftercare balm provided.
3) Your lips will appear swollen for 1-2 days and the colour will be quite intense for the first 5-7 days. The colour will fade over 50% to a more soft and natural tone once they are fully healed.
4) Around day 3 they will start to feel dry and chapped. Please do not pick at the dry skin and let it fall off naturally over the next few days. If you remove the dry skin before it is ready, the tattoo underneath will come off which will result in scarring, gaps, patches and uneven healed results.
5) Stay out of the sun for the first 7 days.
6) Avoid eating food that contains a lot of sauce, oils, seasonings, spices or foods that you may have to bite into which can be messy. Make sure to drink with a straw for the first 5 days.
7) Avoid kissing, rubbing or any friction on the tattooed area for the first 7 days.
8) Strictly no sweating for 7 days. Please ensure you are not exercising or playing sports during this time. You may think you do not sweat on the face area, but you are putting yourself at risk of infection and compromising your healed results.
9) Please wait a minimum of 10 days before getting any treatments around the area including waxing, threading, dermaplaning, shaving, laser or facials.
10) Avoid applying fake tan to the area for at least 10 days as this can increase risk of infection and change the colour of the tattoo.

COSMETIC TATTOO EYELINER
1) Do not wet your eyes for 7 days. This includes water, steam, sweat, sauna and swimming.
2) Do not apply any makeup to the eye area for 7 days.
3) Strictly no sweating for 7 days. Please ensure you are not exercising or playing sports during this time. You may think you do not sweat on the face area, but you are putting yourself at risk of infection and compromising your healed results.
4) Contact lenses must be removed before the treatment and can be applied again after 24 hours.
5) In some individual cases there may be slight swelling to the area for the first 24-48 hours. Swelling can also affect the visual appearance of the eyeliner, so don't worry if it doesn't look perfectly straight and even for the first few days.
6) To help reduce discomfort and swelling for the first 1-2 days, wet a few clean cotton pads, squeeze out the excess water and place in the freezer for at least 30 minutes. Lie down, close your eyes and place one cotton pad on each eyelid. This will have a cooling effect and help soothe the area.
7) The eyeliner will appear much darker and thicker for the first few days. Once healed, it will shrink and lighten up to 30%.
8) Please avoid direct sunlight for at least 7 days. If you are going to be in the sun, make sure you are wearing a hat to protect your new eyeliner.
9) Please wait a minimum of 14 days before getting any treatments around the area including waxing, threading, tinting, lamination, lash lifts, lash extensions or facials.
10) Around day 4 your eyeliner will start to flake off. Do not pick at the flakes, let them fall off naturally over the 7 day healing period. If you remove them before they are ready, the tattoo underneath will come off with them which will result in scarring, gaps, patches and uneven healed results.
11) Once the flakes have fallen off naturally, the pigment will seem a lot lighter, and it will feel like your eyeliner has disappeared - we call this the "Ghosting" phase. LONG TERM CARE
1) Sun and UV exposure will fade your tattoo over time. Make sure to always apply a minimum of SPF30 on the tattooed area when going in the sun.
2) Apply a thin layer of Vaseline over your tattoo if swimming in Chlorine.
3) AHA’s (lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoic and tartaric acids) or any creams and lotions for tone correcting, anti-aging, exfoliating or fading can discolour your tattoo and cause it to fade much quicker.
4) When using foundation, avoid the area of your healed eyebrows. If foundation covers healed brows, your eyebrows will appear lighter and ashier.
5) If you have very oily or extremely dry flaky skin, the longevity of your tattoo will be affected.
6) Pigments that are lighter in colour will fade quicker. If you want a longer lasting result, you may want to opt for 1-2 shades darker.
7) Smoking can cause the pigment of your tattoo to fade faster.
